Visiology will showcase an upcoming feature of Polywall Video Wall Management Software at InfoComm 2018 in Las Vegas

A first preview of a coming feature of Polywall video wall management software - the integration with CCTV platforms - will be showcased on the Visiology booth at InfoComm 2018. Visiology has exhibited its software products for efficient collaboration, information management and visualization for several years at the US show.

“This year we see a tremendous request for advanced features and integration with CCTV ecosystem as well as improvement of cybersecurity. Both of these requests are driven by growing usage of IP-based video distribution systems. Already today Polywall software addresses some concerns out-of-the-box, but we continue to develop new features to stay ahead of the competition”, says Ivan Vakhmyanin, CEO of Visiology.

The new feature will facilitate work of an operator in a control room by providing access to CCTV system assets directly from the Polywall GUI. This improves the process of obtaining data and simplifies coordination with a security platform administrator. Integrated in Polywall settings, this function allows displaying relevant CCTV objects (such as cameras or maps) which are provided by the security system.

Polywall software solution facilitates management of multiple video walls with an unlimited number of sources from which it is possible to create display scenarios and schedule content playback on a video wall in a variety of applications. Thus Polywall expands the functions of a Windows-based hardware controller and enables efficient interaction of operators in a command and control room. “Convenient communication and interaction of command and control room staff with each other and with computer-generated data are critical for this sector”, states Elena Novikova, Owner of Visiology, referring to the concept as “Ergonomics of Communications”. Polywall user interface is available in nine languages and is regularly applied in command and control projects, such as security operation, traffic management, and network operation centers. The software currently is running in over 300 systems globally.

Polywall also empowers corporate collaboration rooms with its efficient source management including drag & drop. The software allows to group and synchronize presentations, together with other media data on video walls and screens distributed across various office locations. An additional iPad application gives Polywall a modern simplicity, portability and convenience of use in the corporate work environment.
