Label diagram
The petal diagram is also known as a radar diagram. It displays multidimensional data on several categories, placing them around the circumference, and values for each category are displayed along the radii.
This widget closes several needs for business analytics:
- Comparative analysis: you can compare several series of data at the same time (in this case, three are series 1, series 2, series 3). This is useful for identifying the strengths and weaknesses of each object of analysis (for example, the productivity of different departments or products).
- Visualization of multidimensional data: it effectively displays several variables on one diagram, helping to visually analyze the distribution of data on many categories.
- Deviation identification: such a diagram helps to easily identify areas with large deviations from the norm or other series of data, which may indicate problems or opportunities for improvement.
- Simplicity of perception: business analytics can quickly see key points where one of the series exceeds the others, or, conversely, is inferior. This is especially important in cases where you need to quickly make decisions.
In the business content, such a widget can be used for:
- Assessments of the performance of different departments.
- Comparison of the characteristics of products or services.
- Identification of strengths and weaknesses on various metrics (for example, KPI).
